Hello. Welcome to my website.

I took the memoirs of my mother and her two sisters, wove their stories together, and edited this  book which  chronicles their escape from the Holocaust. All seven of the family members  you see on the front cover survived. So when you read this book, you don’t have to worry about the ending.

They would not have survived had it not been for the  many brave people who risked their lives to rescue them.

All of these heroic people have been remembered and honored in this book.

This book is intended to educate readers about the Holocaust.  Each chapter begins with the backstory of how history was unfolding as Alexandra, Eva and Judith described their life in Germany before the war, followed by four years of their journey to survive.  I invite readers learning about the Holocaust to visit my Education page.

I also hope that this book will inspire others to interview their elders and document their lives. Too often we miss our chance, and then live with that regret.
